Try Tea for a Beautiful Sleep

The beautiful small white flowers similar to daisies, the Chamomile, will lull you to sleep if given a chance. Yes! Chamomiles with their enchanting fragrance but bitter taste is the flowery way to the nerve-cracking insomnia that you face after a long tired day. Insomnia, the condition of sleeplessness is a nightmare for the sufferer. Imagine you coming home after a long hectic day which has left you drastically tired, too tired to even sleep. The night turns to day with you tossing and turning and the next day turns out to be a living hell with you incapable of even sitting up straight, leave alone work! This is when a cup of tea helps you to get a sound sleep.

Chamomile meaning ground apple as its a herb and thus grows close to ground and its sweet smell is suggestive of apples. The caffeine-free tea from the ayurvedic herbs taken just before going to bed acts as muscle relaxant and induces sleep. The muscle relaxant ability helps ease menstural cramps, stomach pains, muscle aches and spasms. It also provides relief from eye fatigue and irritations. Any sort of skin irritation can be soothened by applying this potion. Chamomile tea helps in providing natural highlights to hair. It is useful in treating dandruffs and unhealthy scalp.

However any thing of value has its harmful side too. Chamomile tea can induce drowsiness and should be taken only under favourable conditions. An abortifacient, Chamomile is not recommended during pregnancy. High doses also cause vomiting and skin reactions.
