There are way too many crash diets out there which not only give people false hope but also de-motivate them and make them lose confidence in themselves that they can lose weight. It's a viscous cycle that schemers are just making money from. Healthy slow weight loss is always the way to go because your body and your mind needs time to get to grips with the change. Overweight patients who have had weight loss surgery usually suffer from depression after-wards because of the sudden change. Plus if you are used to food making you happy then you need to find something else that makes you happy - yourself!
