    Loaning Friends Money

    Hi Ladies,
What do you think about loaning money to friends.
I have a good friend who needs $300. She told me she would pay me back in two weeks.
If she does, that's fine. If she doesn't, I will not be able to pay my rent. She is not the most on time person for doing anything, but I hate to say no. What do you suggest?

Loaning money to friends can cause problems if the friend does not pay back when expected. I had a friend who promised to pay me back the money she borrowed in 30 days.
It took her six months to pay me back. Everytime I asked for her to pay me, she acted like I was bothering her. We are still friends to this day, but it hurt our relationship.
Think twice before lending money to friends.

i hate when friends ask for money. buying dinner, drinks, tickets, etc. is fine it's part of being a friend.

but when people start asking for investment capital for some crazy scheme, amway, etc. it's just not cool and rather lame
