    broken gas gauge

I have a 73 240z with a broken gas gauge. How expensive would it be to fix this?

It would depend on if it is the gauge itself, or the sending unit in the gas tank. You can find someone locally to help you and they should be able to figure this out for you.

My gas gauge was not working and it was a short in the wire. If you do not have someone who can help you, you can find a local mechanic. It should not be real expensive.
It cost me about $35 for them to find and repair the short. Hopefully it's something simple.

    Hey,
Thanks for all of the replies. Yes, I did get it fixed and I am so HAPPY now! I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it really quick. It was just a wire that was loose.
    I love my little ZCar.
